Merry Christmas!

It is amazing how time flies when you are busy. I've been going and going and going for so long now that I am so amazed that Christmas is upon us. Three days away...wow! I did get my tree up, about a week ago. The kids were especially happy to see the tree up; I think they were beginning to worry that we wouldn't have one up and consequently they wouldn't get any gifts.

Speaking of gifts, I am one gift away from being done with my shopping and for that I'm glad. It's been harder to get the shopping done because we've been so busy and also I get alot more tired now that I am 7 months and counting.
Yep, you heard right. I am in my last trimester and before long we will have our new bundle of joy in our home. With a little more than ten weeks to go, it's really hitting home now. Once Christmas is done and over, we will have to start preparing the baby's room. I recently had a baby shower and there are lots of baby things to organize. My shower was amazing!!! I was blown away because it was all pretty much a surprise and my friends and family in Ft. Lauderdale went through so many lengths to make it a really special shower. I am so blessed and so grateful to have so many real friends in my life.

Living in Tampa has made me realize on many occasions how important it is to have true friends that I can count on and who can count on me. I've heard it said that "home is where your heart is" and I definitely have to agree that most of my heart is in Ft. Lauderdale (except for the part of my heart that belongs to Greg and my children). There is just a special kind of feeling that I get when I'm there and around people who I know genuinely love me. I believe that God has my family here in Tampa for a purpose and so I am trusting Him with all my heart. However, when the time is right I hope that He will bring us back to our family and friends in Ft. Lauderdale.

I do have some great friends here in Tampa and I appreciate them very much and thank God for them as well. I wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! I pray that you will be blessed and that you will make wonderful memories with your loved ones this Christmas.
