Happy New Year!!!

It's unbelievable how quickly 2008 has gone by. I cannot believe that we are on the verge of ringing in the new year. 2008 has been a year with its' ups and downs. We have many good times but we also had some bad. I think the country as a whole faced some really bad times and so many of us were affected by these changes in the economy. Yet through it all, we are here and we should be thankful for that. I am also thankful for good health, my family and close friends.
I am praying for a great 2009 for all of my family and friends. I pray that you will be blessed. I hope that you will make many new and wonderful memories with your family. While there might be many challenges ahead, just remember that God is in control! He will never give you more than you can handle. Lean on Jesus throughout 2009 and beyond and you can be sure that He will get you through anything.
My parents and my younger brother are here ringing in 2009 with us. It is wonderful to see them. We are just chillin' here at the house. We had pizza earlier and we are now just waiting to watch the "ball drop" and do the countdown. I know, it might sound pretty boring but that's okay with us. That's just the way we like it!
