What's Happening?

After having a week of ups and downs, I finally started feeling better yesterday. I'm now 14 weeks (tomorrow) and my body is now tired more than usual. I try to stay off my feet as much as possible because my body is also weak from not being able to eat "normal."
Yesterday I felt the desire to do something to lift my spirits. I asked my husband if we (meaning him) could get us a baby-sitter because my best friend was unable to baby-sit. It took some work on his part but he was able to get a co-worker and his wife to agree to watch the kids for a few hours. We dropped them off at their house so the kids could play with their daughter and eat pizza. Then we headed to Muvico over in Wesley Chapel (its' close to where we dropped the kids off). We usually go to Citrus Park so just being at a different theatre was very nice because it really made me feel like I was going some place different. We've actually been to Muvico before so it wasn't entirely new. For me, it was exciting all the same.
My husband was making a sacrifice for me because by the time we headed to the movies he had to miss the game (Miami Hurricanes vs. Florida). The Miami Hurricanes is one of his favorite teams and he had to miss it for precious me. He didn't complain about it. It was all for the greater good, right? I mean, getting out and seeing a movie really helped to lift my spirit. Hanging out at home while not feeling "normal" was taking a toll on me not only physically but mentally too. I've been feeling really down about it and getting out yesterday felt awesome. Thank you husband and thank you Jesus.
Today was off to a good start for me but unfortunately I pushed the envelope and ate some fries after church. Needless to say, my stomach has been wreaking havoc on me and I am really paying the price. Still I will not get down about it. I know that I am getting better, I may not be a 100% yet but my goal is to stay positive this week. I will push forward and take it one day at a time.

Hope your stomach feels better. And I agree that your husband is your best friend. I too am a UM fan, so I know he's glad that he didn't have to sit and witness Florida absolutely humiliate Miami yesterday 26-3.
